Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located just off of Highway 280 and University Ave W. in the Midway Commercial building by the Memorial Blood bank.
Our Address is:
2500 University Ave. W
Suite C10
Saint Paul, MN 55114
*PLEASE NOTE* This is NOT a mailing address. Please ask where to ship fabric for custom orders.
Q: How long does a custom order take?
A: Custom order time depends on the complexity of order, number of items ordered and how many other orders we have in the queue at the time. That said, a standard custom corset order takes 10-12 weeks. We do offer options for rush orders, subject to additional fees. Check the home page for updates on current wait time.
Q: "I saw this awesome cosplay, can you make it for me?!"
A: As a general rule, I will not make cosplay; however, I have created Reimagined Cosplays in the past, so I am open to discussing this type of commission.
Q: I saw this one design made by another designer, will you make it for me?
A: Out of respect for the other designer I will not make replicas, and instead, strongly encourage you to buy from them.
Q: I have this awesome idea for a garment, will you make it?
A: I am able to make a variety of garments; if you have an idea of what you would like I am willing to work with you to achieve your vision.
Q: I saw a design you made previously, can I order the same thing?
A: Replicating an exact piece of my design is based on available materials and whether or not it was a custom client order. I will not replicate custom client orders but will adapt them to your own tastes. I will try my best to use the same fabrics or a close match. I am open to recreating non-custom designs in different color schemes to match your preferences.
Q: Do you make men’s wear?
A: Yes! The same rules and wait time also apply to men’s wear. Check the Men’s Wear page. Occasionally we do have off-the-rack pieces available.
Q: Do you guarantee your Corsets?
A: I guarantee my craftsmanship. Some structural flaws outside of normal wear and tear may be fixed, but on a case by case basis. I am not responsible for misuse or maltreatment of your garment. Proper wear and care instructions are included with your order, and can also be found on this website. As reminder do not let your friends borrow your corsets! Treat them like the investments that they are!
Q: Why is your stuff so expensive?
A: All of my garments are made in house from start to finish. This means I draft all my own patterns, purchase materials, cut, and assemble everything myself.
While I understand that we all are used to shopping at retail stores, you are welcome to research corsets of comparable quality online. I will not match competitor prices. If you feel my prices are out of your budget, please keep in mind that I have layaway options and occasional sales.
Q: If I give you materials, will my garment cost less?
A: The majority of the price is the cost of labor going into the creation of your garment. For this reason, I am unable to offer further discount beyond fabric cost.
*The use of outside fabric is at my discretion.
Q: ZOMG! I’m your biggest fan can I have a discount?
A: We do have the occasional sales events (which we announce on our Facebook page), as well as layaway plans. As much as we appreciate your enthusiasm for my products, I do not have discounts.
Q: What if I recommend you to all of my friends and they buy stuff?
A: You get brownie points good for being awesome.
Q: Do you have a store I can visit?
A: As of right now I do not. However I have a studio you may visit (see question below for more information). I vend at various conventions in the mid-west, please check our events page for our convention schedule. If you are looking to purchase ready-made garments they can be found on our Etsy Shop.
Q: Can I visit your studio?

I ask that you have completed basic construction classes and have an adequate knowledge of garment construction and design. I occasionally will accept interns that are not attending school for fashion on a limited case by case basis.
