This listing is for 1 fitted "Origami" face mask. It is made from 2 layers of cotton fabric. The outer layer and inner layers are either a cotton calico or a cotton batik, selected for their densely woven fibers (not just any cotton will do!).

This mask DOES NOT include a pocket for inserting additional filtration. You can choose to have elastic at the ears or a tie to go around the back of the head. Please note this for us when ordering.

Please choose your option of nose wire or no nose wire when ordering; this will add a small fee; it will be a small channel sewn along the top edge and a wire that will be permanent.

You get to choose the fabric for these masks! Since they are made after ordering, please let us know your favorite colors, favorite animals, motifs, or specific fabrics if you've been watching our Facebook page. While we make our best attempt to fulfill these wishes, we won't have every single item on your list, and will do 'close enough'. Please be understanding. If you'd like to see photos and have a hand in picking fabrics, please feel free to open a dialogue on our Facebook messenger, where we can send photos back and forth!

This mask is made in a clean studio, and we do our best to protect you from the environment, but we suggest washing and sterilization before use, and after the wearer uses it each time. Recommended treatment is: Hand agitation with mild detergent or dish soap for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Boil water in a pot, then remove from heat. Place masks into pot for 2 minutes, making sure to stir them in so that they get fully submerged. Remove carefully and hang to dry. The initial cleaning treatment may show darkened water from excess dyes in the fabrics; this is normal.
